On Thursday 3rd December the Gatwick Diamond Awards announced the winners of the annual 2020 Gatwick Diamond Business Awards.
The event was virtually hosted by Gyles Brandreth and Ashdown Park Hotel & Country Club scooped up the coveted prize for Employer of the Year 2020 (sponsored by Search Consultancy Ltd.)
Judges visited the property and spoke with the team at Ashdown Park Hotel from a range of roles across the company before making their final decision.
Matthew Covell, Divisional Manager, of Search Hospitality commented "We were extremely impressed with this entry and it was a real pleasure meeting the on-site team and seeing so many happy staff members, the innovations and processes put in place by Ashdown Park have not happened overnight, this is something they have been building towards for a number of years.
In our opinion, they would be very worthy winners of the ‘Employer of the Year’ category as they are a truly exceptional example of what a Luxury Hotel organization should look like. Whilst retaining the ethos’s and traditions of what the building and the hotel deserve the strategies and ongoing visions for the staff are right up to date and market-leading in many aspects."
